YouTubeTimeMemo - Record Playtime and Notes on YouTube
YouTubeTimeMemo is a free Chrome add-on developed by hermitage. This handy tool allows users to record their playtime and add notes while watching YouTube videos. By simply typing "playtime note" in the search bar on YouTube, users can easily create a record and later jump to that specific playtime with just one click.
With YouTubeTimeMemo, users can:
1. Save notes along with the corresponding playtime.
2. Review their notes at any time.
3. Jump to a specific playtime by clicking on the associated note.
4. Edit their existing notes.
This add-on is particularly useful for various scenarios, such as creating personal bookmarks for study videos, quickly navigating to specific moments in frequently revisited videos, or recording memorable events during live streams for later reference.
However, there are a few important points to note. When saving notes during live streams, there may be instances where the time gets slightly shifted due to edits or changes in the archived video. Additionally, the add-on does not support saving notes with decimal values, resulting in a slight discrepancy of about 1 second. Therefore, it may not be ideal for saving longer paragraphs of text.
Overall, YouTubeTimeMemo is a convenient tool for YouTube users who want to keep track of important playtimes and add notes for easy reference.
